For more than twenty-five years, Rich has served the investment, financial planning and insurance needs of the South and Central Florida and Baltimore/Washington, D.C. communities. The first 10 years of his career were spent with the brokerage firms of Legg Mason, Fidelity Investments and MetLife Financial Services before turning independent in 2004. Rich’s clients say he patiently and clearly explains information, helping ensure that they understand fully their financial options before making decisions. An Investment Adviser Representative, he helps clients see the big picture of long-range planning without getting wrapped up in the day-to-day minutiae. He has been a featured speaker at public, private, and corporate events locally and statewide. Rich holds Series 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations. He has earned the Certified Financial PlannerTM and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow® designations. He received a BA in Economics from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County, his MBA from the University of Baltimore, and his Certificate in Financial Planning from the Florida Institute of Technology.
After growing up in Maryland, Rich is now a long-term Brevard County resident. His wife, Barbara, has been a public school educator for over twenty-five years, and she has been teaching at Palm Bay Elementary School since 1998. Together, they are passionately involved in the community through Special Olympics, Future Problem Solving and Brevard Public Schools' Partners in Education Program. Rich currently serves as the Brevard Schools Foundation Board Vice-Chair. Rich and Barbi love to travel the world, having set foot on all seven continents. In addition to an affinity for great food, cooking and eating, Rich likes to make use of his sea legs whenever possible, jumping on his boat to fish or just enjoy time on the water.
